About the Role:
The position of Financial Controller is required for executing the cost controlling and reporting activities (internal and group) encompassed within the scope of the Financial Controller Team.
The Financial Controller is responsible for delivering all the reporting requirements, guaranteeing they are produced in compliance with the company’s processes. They are also responsible for:
Day to day
- Assist Operations on a day-to-day basis for any finance-related matters.
- Review actual results, projections by nature and destination with Operations, and update the forecast accordingly.
- Ensure budgetary analysis and presentations are prepared on a timely basis.
- Participate in the process of implementing new procedures.
- Participate in the process of developing management/reporting tools that help to monitor the business unit performance, i.e., dashboards, OPEX report file for Operations.
Monthly close
- Prepare accruals.
- Ensure all accounting steps are properly recorded (payroll, depreciation, taxation, FX revaluation, etc.).
- Monitor and control business performance by comparison of actual results versus budget, actuals versus forecast, and budget versus forecast on a continuous basis.
- Preparation of cash flow forecast and P&L forecast by month, which involves collecting information from the business.
- Review and comment financial reports with each Operations Manager, Finance Control Team Lead and Reporting and Control Finance Manager.
Quarterly
- Asset presentation preparation for internal review (P&L & Cash-flows).
Yearly
- Budget: coordinate the data collection from the operations (P&L & Cash-flows), propose Cash-flow projections, and prepare the budget presentation for Management review.
Spot
- Data preparation of Board meetings (internal and group).
- Flowcharts by assets update when required.
Reporting
- Financial Report (FR): ensure report is properly commented, and submitted in due time on a monthly basis.
- OPEX Cost Report (OCR): ensure report is properly commented with financial and operational inputs, and submitted in due time on a monthly basis.
- Cash-Flows: update the forecast based on the actual figures and on the latest assumptions defined with Operations on a monthly basis.

- 3 to 5 Years FC Experience
- An ability to work with deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality
- English is mandatory, French is a plus.
